Register your new puppy with us at the NKC.

If there anything more exciting than bringing home a new puppy? We doubt it. Not only are puppies incredibly cute and playful, but they are loving companions that you and your family will love and shelter for many years to come. However, there is a lot more involved in getting a new puppy than just giving it a bed, some food, and water, especially when you have a purebred puppy.

Puppy Registry

If you are a new owner of a purebred puppy, one very important task you should take care of is registering with us at the National Kennel Club. We maintain a puppy registry and accept all breeds of dogs, which isn’t something that all kennel clubs can claim.

There are several reasons registering your puppy is a good idea. First, if you own a purebred puppy, you likely want to preserve its bloodline. Our puppy registry allows you to have proof of your dog’s purebred status, and it keeps a record of your puppy’s pedigree, so you can trace its ancestry back to other dogs. In addition, when you register with us, you qualify your puppy to participate in a variety of dog-related shows, events, and competitions we sanction, such as All-Breed Shows. Lastly, registering your puppy helps to promote and improve proper breeding practices.

We are proud of everything we have accomplished since our start in 1964, and we love being able to work with dog owners and breeders like you. If you have any questions about our puppy registry, please contact us today.
