A moderately long and low dog

Eyes oval and medium sized; Head foxy in shape and appearance; Flat skull; Ears erect, tapering to rounded point
Tail:
Docked as short as possible
Color:
Red, sable, fawn, black and tan, all with or without white flashings
Size:
Weight: male: 27 lb; female: 25 lb; Height: 10-12”
Gait:
Its movement is free and smooth, with good reach and drive
Coat:
It combines a weather-resistant undercoat of medium length with a coarser outer coat of slightly longer length
Temperament:
Quick and quick-witted with an active mind and body
