Breed Standards for the Ibizan Hound
The Ibizan should possess a deer-like elegance and expression, and its movement reflects these qualities.
Long, narrow, cone-shaped head with prominent occiput, little-defined stop, small light eyes.
Large pointed ears, held erect when alert.
Set low and carried in a sickle, ring or saber position.
Can be hard, either short or wire, the latter from one to three inches in length.
White or red, solid or in any combination.
Gentle, mild-mannered, even-tempered, and loyal, and makes a quiet, trust-worthy house pet.
