Breed Standards for the Dalmatian
General Appearance: The coat is short, hard and dense, looking both sleek and glossy.
Head: Rounded eyes, flat skull, rounded, high-set, medium-sized ears.
Tail: Carried with a slight upward curve.
Color: Black or liver spots on white background; spots should be round, well defined, and preferably separated.
Size: The height is from 22 – 24 inches, while weight is generally 50 – 55 pounds.
Temperament: It is a playful, eager companion that must get daily hard exercise.
