General Appearance:

A square-proportioned, thickset, and compact

Head:

Very large eyes; Round skull with deep stop

Tail:

Tail docked to about one-third, held high

Color:

Red, beige (mixed reddish brown and black), black and tan, or black

Size:

Weight: 8- 10 lb; Height: 7-8”

Gait:

Its movement is a purposeful trout, with moderate reach and drive

Coat:

Can be rough, with hard wiry hair, which is longer around the head; or smooth, with a short glossy coat

Temperament:

Bold, playful, stubborn, and mischievous
