Our Registry Preserves the Breeding and Sport of Purebred Dogs

HomeBlogOur Registry Preserves the Breeding and Sport of Purebred Dogs

Our mission at the National Kennel Club is to preserve the sport and breeding of purebred dogs. Since 1964, we have maintained a registry of purebred dogs to maintain dog-related sporting and events and purebred dog breeding.

Champion dogs, champion owners, champion service.

Our registry consists of all types of purebred dogs, and we recommend registering all nonregistered dogs, from puppies to older dogs. If your dog is already on another registry, you can also add your dog to ours.

On top of maintaining this registry, we sanction all-breed dog shows for fox dogs, coon dogs, beagles, squirrel dogs, bird dogs, and other types of dogs. Our goal by sanctioning these events is to uphold purebred dog sports and bring dog owners together in a family-friendly atmosphere.
